TSN's Ice Chips:
Jere Lehtinen suffered a leg injury in Game 2 on Saturday night and might be out of the lineup for a short period of time. At present he is listed as questionable for Monday's contest. Mike Ribeiro received a match penalty for slashing Detroit goalie Chris Osgood in the chest at the end of regulation on Saturday night. The penalty will automatically be reviewed by the league and could result in a suspension. So the Stars could be without their leading scorer in the regular season and the playoffs in Ribeiro, as well as their top line winger in Lehtinen. - Dallas Morning News
Stu Barnes (concussion-like symptoms) did not dress for Game 2 on Saturday night. The Stars' forward remains day-to-day. - TSN

According to a team news release, Franzen had been experiencing headaches since early in the Western Conference semifinals against Colorado. The Detroit medical staff has suggested he not play until further tests can be done Monday in Detroit. - Detroit Free Press

That was a great game! Good hockey start to finish. Too bad that the Flyers lost another defenseman. Hope he's okay and can come back into the game on Tuesday. Biron is pretty edgy for a goalie!

That was an enjoyable game. I'm rooting for Flyers, but I like Penguins as well, so whichever team moves on I'll be happy. I'm going to root for Flyers for the time being, though

Philadelphia doesn't seem to have the same energy they displayed against Montreal though. They may have used it all up. I guess we'll see Tuesday night

I hope they did not burn all that great energy up! That would be disappointing, not only to watch but in the end the results will be disappointing.
I think the Penguins do have what it takes to go on though, so if they win it can honestly be said that they are deserving of it.
I am interested to see what two teams are going to be left to face one another....I hope Detroit kicks Dallas clear out.

"I'd like to see some consistency (in the officiating)," Stevens said. "We've got a couple of stars on our team, too. Derian Hatcher's been around the league for a long time and he knows how to defend. I can't be mad at Hatch."
