I have decided after much talk and decision that I am going to start my own company that deals with website and graphic design as a side project. I have several clients loaded up and I don't even have a portfolio or company name yet!

So I am thinking that I may go with something hockey related and wanted to see if any of you had any ideas.

I looked at maybe PowerPlayDesigns.com but that seems too generic. I also thought about Blue Line Designs but that is odd too.

I also thought about going wacky with something like Stupid Monkey Designs or maybe even Flying Monkey Designs. I like the name Fat Penguin Media but that has already been taken by another website that I know of.

So any ideas?

I'd like it to either have media or design somewhere in it.

Help me out!

How about "Virtual Daredevil"? That name would indicate that you'd be innovative and wouldn't hesitate to try new things fearlessly.

LOL, at least it's not Too Many Men Productions. The motto can be, "Because you can never have too many men!"

Considering it's also a link to what proof used to be (blue lines), I kind of like it.

I decided to go with Valo Studios since Valo in Finnish means Light and I am okay with that.

(for those that didn't know, I am 100% Finnish.)

I like Flying Monkeys, personally!

How about Dancing Pucks Designs? Or Tooth In Puck Designs? Or if you really want outside the box, Break-Dancing Pucks Designs.

I really am no good at coming up with names for things. I wish you well!

No I never had one. But I was thinking about it. In Germany itīs difficult to start your own company. And I donīt have enough talent and time to start one.
I respect anyone who does it.

you didn't even use any name that is related to hockey,
at least you thought of a name. valo? as in villie valo from HIM?

I was going to use Blue Light Studios but that has already been taken and I tried every name that I could agree with when it came to hockey. None of them were available that I liked.

I went with Valo because it's an easy to spell word, it's Finnish for "Light" and I am Finnish (also live in a high Finn area of Minnesota), and yes, I do enjoy the style of HIM so it couldn't be any more perfect.
