To say hockey is in Adam Brown’s blood is an understatement. With his father serving as an assistant coach in the NHL for the past 11 seasons, the 16-year-old netminder couldn’t help but learn the game in fast-forward.
“Being around NHL guys a lot and watching them work on a daily basis has been really a good learning experience for me,” said Brown, whose dad, Newell Brown, is an assistant coach with the Anaheim Ducks.
“I see what they have to do and how hard they have to work to perform at that level. That’s what I have to do if I want to go on and have success in the game.”
