No I don't. I've heard he's playing very well, but still needs to improve his positioning and defensive play a bit.

He now has 5 assists in 4 games btw! I think he was -2 or -3 tho...

This is a youtube video with the goal hightlights of one of the Wisconsin games. Gardiner had 3 assists and was a +1 player, with two of his assists coming on the PP.

Something that stood out to me was at the 1:43 mark. You might like what you see.

you have to see it in person to appreciate it.... it was shocking at Prospect Camp...

he was clearly the best skater and maybe the best player on the ice....

Wow.

Didn't see this until now.

Very smart play by Gardiner to use his skating ability to stretch out the play until one of his guys could crash the net before he shot the puck, all at 90mph.

Very impressive.

Oh my what a fast player! And the move was also good. I am surprised too see him in a few years. He looks faster than Scotty Niedermayer imo.

Was doing a semi-occasional accounting of where our prospects were....

And I couldn't find Michal Birner anywhere. Not on the roster in Iowa, or in Bakersfield.

Found this instead:
TSN Player Link, Michal Birner

Apparently, he was assigned to Bakersfield on 20 November, followed by an assignment to Finland on 27 November.

Makes that McDonald salary dump deal look even BETTER!!! sad.gif

(Didn't see this anywhere before....sorry if I missed it). crazy.gif

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong...

But I think he was traded between OHL teams. Link to a page listing two 2008-09 teams.

Who'd we get for him? Looked like a good prospect.

The rest of our guys are killing it, can't wait to see them in the big leagues.

the ducks didn't trade him, just the OHL team did. So he is still a ducks prospect.

(Brandon) McMillan's move has helped the Rockets rise
Anaheim draft pick moved to blueline
...
Another factor in the Rockets' rise is McMillan, a forward, shifting in late December to defence, a position he hadn't played since his first-year bantam season with South Delta in 2003-04. The speedster gave Kelowna another puck mover on the blueline and helped solidify a rearguard corps that took a major hit when Luke Schenn made the Toronto Maple Leafs at age 19.
...
"Anaheim doesn't foresee me playing in the NHL as a defenceman, but they've said that it's never bad for your game when you can play both forward and defence," said McMillan, 19, a third-year Rocket who is listed at 5-foot-11 and 190 pounds.

If you look at prospects that we haven't heard about, you could look at the european goalies we have and Stefan Warg. He looks like a consistent player

Funny that it escaped the notice of TSN's proclaimed "Prospect Insider", Shane Malloy. Just exactly what is he inside?
