I just noticed that the Ducks website no longer has the jersey banner at the top. Now they have the "D" that has been prominent this year that looks like it has been skated over. I like that logo a lot, but I don't like the plain font that says Anaheim Ducks. I think it could be a lot better looking.
What do you guys think?

Except for the fact that you can barely see the banner for all of the advertisement, it's okay. I actually like the "D" and wish it were prominent on the ice. The "Anaheim Ducks" font on the banner is a BIG improvement over what was used on the opening night T-shirts. I'm glad it was free, but it really looked a lot like those rip-off T-shirts you can pick up after most Kings games at Staples or after practically any concert for a couple of bucks.

I don't like being negative but after going through all 30 websites, I'd have to say that they're all boring including this new one from the Ducks. Well, not all 30... I actually kinda liked 2 of them, Toronto and Columbus. Phoenix was just butt ugly...
Although I think the new one is an improvement I do agree with you that the font is a bit plain. And I also don't get why they're so high on this bevel and emboss thingy. They used it on their last banner as well.

All I can say is that the new banner is better than the old one, but with the Bevel and Emboss still being used everywhere, it all still feels cheap and tacky.

they need to use the font that they are using in their current marketing campaign.
they should have done that in the first place,
it would make perfect sense to to make the graphic on the site, match the current seasons marketing graphics.
anybody remember the banner during the playoffs last spring, that one was pretty cool...
our playoff logo could maybe uses a better design.

yeah i said to Brady today in the chat that i liked it and he responded "Me too. This "DEDICATION" thing is going to be our marketing theme this year, so look for more of that. It's kind of a cool idea."
