Good luck to KC in whatever he chooses to do....I believe this is the best decision as his career was dwindling and his kids are getting older now.

The SCB obligated a sixth foreigner regarding the most important time of the season: The defensive defender Keith Carney (geb. 3.2.1970) will arrive on 16 January 2009 in Berne and with the number 3 Bernese the defensive will strengthen. Carney, a Viertrundendraft from the year 1988, can look back on a 16-jährige NHL career. Its NHL stations were Buffalo, Chicago, Phoenix, Anaheim, Vancouver and in the end Minnesota, where it denied its last NHL play in April 2008. In the summer 2008 was still the 38-Jährige with Chicago Blackhawks in the training Camp, announced in November then however its resignation as a NHL professional. Keith Carney without hesitating followed the call of the SCB. The sporty line judges the experienced defensive defender as a valuable addition of the offensively strongly arising Travis Roche.

Saw him at the Target at Irvine spectrum with like 3-4 lil kids. He had a hand full of kids so I didn't bother him haha

Keith Carney, once a Bob Beers teammate at Maine, hooked on recently as a player development coach with the Blackhawks, following a path much like that of Bill Guerin (hired not long ago by the Penguins). Carney, 41, wrapped up his NHL career with two years in St. Paul, then called it quits after playing a dozen games in 2008-09 with Bern, Switzerland . . .
