The team is expected to call up Shawn Matthias from Rochester of the AHL. - Miami Herald

min.png Kurtis Foster (broken left femur) asked coach Jacques Lemaire for permission to take part in the Wild's morning skate on Wednesday. "Usually guys that are injured don't stay with us because they're not ready to come back, but he said it would make him feel good and I said, 'Absolutely,'" explained Lemaire. I won't play today, and probably not [Saturday in Toronto] either." - Philadelphia Daily News
