edm.png Oilers forward Robert Nilsson suffered an upper body injury during the third period of Sunday's loss to the Stars. He likely will not play Wednesday and is doubtful to play on the weekend. - TSN

flo.png Winger David Booth will be re-evaluted on Monday after suffering a left shoulder injury Sunday against New York. He's doubtful for Tuesday's game against the Capitals. Craig Anderson will start in net on Tuesday. - Miami Herald

la.png Defenceman Peter Harrold will be in the lineup on Monday against the Leafs. He will be replacing Denis Gauthier who is out with a foot injury. Gauthier will have MRI on Monday to figure out the extent of the injury. - LA Times

mon.png Head coach Guy Carbonneau will make a decision on forwards Alex Tanguay (neck) and Georges Laraque (groin) after Tuesday's morning skate, but said he'd be surprised if both weren't ready based on their full participation in practice on Monday.
Carey Price will start in net against the Thrashers on Tuesday. - TSN

nj.png Bobby Holik is progressing well in his recovery from finger surgery. He appears to be a week or so away from returning to the lineup. Forward John Madden, who has missed the last four games because of a bruised ankle is on pace to return to the lineup on Thursday. - Star Ledger

Mike Comrie is skating, but his return to the Islanders' lineup is still up in the air. Comrie, who is still recovering from off-season hip surgery has eight points so far this season, but hasn't played in a month. - New York Newsday

ott.png Forward Dean McAmmond did not skate at morning practice as he is suffering from the effects of a head cold. Defenceman Alex Picard is day-to-day with a wrist injury. - TSN

phi.png Left winger Josh Gratton has been placed on waivers. - TSN

Daniel Briere and the Flyers are taking things slow regarding his return. There is a chance he could play Tuesday against the Lightning. "I'm close," Briere said Thursday. "But I'm just not 100 percent there yet and it's better to be safe and healthy. I won't play today, and probably not [Saturday in Toronto] either." - Philadelphia Daily News

pho.png Despite not winning any of his last six starts, Ilya Bryzgalov is still the Coyotes number one goaltender according to head coach Wayne Gretzky. - Arizona Republic

sjs.png Jonathan Cheechoo (upper body) did not play on Saturday night. The same injury caused him to miss six games earlier in November. Riley Armstrong took a cross-country flight from Boston to Phoenix in order to make his NHL debut. Armstrong played on the fourth line with Jeremy Roenick and Jody Shelley. Tomas Plihal skated on the third line in place of Cheechoo with Marcel Goc and Mike Grier. - Mercury News

stl.gif Winger Cam Janssen was a healthy scratch on Sunday. He only has two assists so far this season in 20 games. - St Louis Post Dispatch

Forward Ryan Hollweg and defenceman Jaime Sifers will be healthy scratches tonight when the Leafs face the Kings. Jason Blake will return to the lineup after missing two games with a concussion. Forward Matt Stajan continues to battle the flu but will play. - TSN

van.png Left wing Jason Jaffray has been recalled from Manitoba of the AHL and centre Alexandre Bolduc has been re-assigned to Manitoba. Jaffray, 27, ranks second on the Moose in scoring with 17 points in 17 games played this season. - Release
