nyr.png Defenceman Corey Potter will make his NHL debut tonight against Calgary, replacing Wade Redden on the blue line. Redden is believed to be suffering from groin problems. - NY Post

phi.png Defenceman Matt Carle, suffering from back spasms, did not make the trip to Carolina on Saturday. "He's still tight and continuing his rehab, and we'll see where it goes next week when we get back at practice," coach John Stevens said. - Philadelphia Inquirer

pho.png Olli Jokinen missed his fifth straight game Saturday due to a shoulder injury. He isn't expected to return until Wednesday against Dallas. - Arizona Republic

pitt.png Defenceman Hal Gill wore an ice bag on his right shoulder after the game in Ottawa. He said it was "probably just bruised" on a third-period hit by Jesse Winchester. tmp.png Matt Pettinger is at least a few days from returning. Pettinger sprained his right knee in practice Nov. 25 when his skate caught a rut in the ice, and he was supposed to miss two to four weeks. - Tampa Tribune

tml.png Coach Ron Wilson said that rookie blueliner Luke Schenn will likely miss about two weeks with a leg injury after being hit by Alex Ovechkin on Saturday. Niklas Hagman is day-to-day, suffering from a headache. Defenceman Mike Van Ryn is expected to be back Friday against the Sabres or Tuesday against the Devils. Jeremy Williams, the Marlies' leading scorer, and defenceman Jaime Sifers have been called up and will be in the Leafs' lineup against the Islanders on Monday. - TSN

wsh.png Forward Eric Fehr missed the final 30 minutes of Saturday's game in Toronto and is day-to-day with a shoulder injury. Washington put Alex Semin on long-term injury reserve and John Erskine on regular IR on Saturday, so there is an open roster spot for another call-up if Fehr can't play Sunday at Carolina. - Washington Post

For those that don't know, Clay Wilson was a Ducks prospect traded to CBJ with Rome for Platt. Guess he may get to see Ponda ice afterall. He played 7 games for CBJ last year, but I don't think any of them were here.

I hope Platt gets a look next season. I thought he had quite a bit of potential.

Bryzgalov getting smoked pinch.gif 4 goals in the first. Doubt he'll be there for the second.

Ilya is getting TORCHED right now in Chicago. The Blackhawks are up 7-0 halfway through the game, and it was scoreless after the first ten minutes. Six differen't 'Hawks have scored the seven goals. Bryz is 10 for 17 on save opportunities.

Ended 21 for 28 (.750). Ouch that's gotta hurt.
