No system is fair when the possibility exists that a team does not finish first in its conference can be selected as one of the top two teams in the entire nation.

No system is fair when a team can go undefeated and still recieve no consideration for a championship.

No system is fair when politicking can factor into who is selected as a national champion.

As far as the other parts of the BCS...

Boy that Virginia Tech and Cincy game is going to be great right? *puke* The bowl payout for that game is not going to be justified by the ratings.

Meanwhile, Boise State and TCU are going to play one of the best games in the country a week earlier in the second biggest bowl in San Diego. Conference affilations with bowls are turning a damn joke. Boise State should at the very least be playing in a BCS bowl as an at large, preferably against Utah. Instead we see Ohio State, the perennial whipping boy of BCS winners (indeed the last time they won in the BCS they were playing Notre Lame), get an undeserved shot against Texas. It's stupid considering that Ohio State's biggest victory of the year was against the third best team in their own conference. The Rose Bowl is being played by two teams that beat OSU.

The NCAA Division I-A (i refuse to call it FCS) is a joke, because not all teams are treated equally or fairly, and there should be some sort of suit filed by teams of mid majors. If Ball State hadn't choked to Buffalo then we would REALLY be having some fun right now.

I like Florida to win it. Funny how I'm rooting for them now, but when I used to live in Florida I was a huge 'Noles fan and anti UF. Guess it's the hometown spirit?
