The game started the way the season has started for Brendan Morrison, and these days that's not a good thing.

Shortly after the Ducks center scored the winning goal Wednesday against the St.Louis Blues - just his third goal of the season - Morrison neatly summed up his motto for this year.

"If you have a strong finish," he said, "no one really remembers the start."
