Forward Darcy Tucker, who is out with a knee injury will travel with the team on their upcoming four game road trip. Dallas Stars

Defenceman Stephane Robidas, who suffered a broken jaw on Wednesday, will miss at least a week of action. Joel Lundqvist who is out with a shoulder injury could return against the Coyotes on Tuesday. - Dallas Morning News

det.png Head coach Mike Babcock said that veteran defenceman Chris Chelios is ready to play and could play his first game of the season tonight against the Phoenix Coyotes. - Detroit Free Press

edm.png Forward Jason Strudwick has been moved up front along with Zack Stortini to provide a physical element for tonight's contest against a scrappy Vancouver team. - TSN

Forward Robert Nilsson is ready to go tonight against the Canucks, therefore the Oilers have assigned Gilbert Brule to Springfield of the American Hockey League. Brule was an emergency recall, so he had to be sent back down. Brule also has to serve a 4-game suspension in the AHL when he gets back. - TSN

la.png Goaltender Erik Ersberg is expected to start in goal against the Minnesota Wild on Saturday. - LA Times

min.png Despite skating with a four-man unit at practice on Friday, Marian Gaborik won't suit up against the Kings on Saturday. When Gaborik is heathy, Brent Burns will go back from forward to the blueline. - Star Tribune

mon.png Guy Carbonneau revealed on Saturday that goaltender Carey Price is suffering from a lower body injury on top of his cold. Price sustained the injury during Wednesday's practice and will stay off the ice for at least another four days. - TSN

Saku Koivu will be out for two weeks and will be re-assessed at that time. - TSN

Carbonneau confirmed on Saturday that Christopher Higgins will be out at least five more weeks, saying it's the same injury that has kept defenceman Mike Komisarek out since mid-November. Higgins suffered the injury during Tuesday's win over Calgary. - TSN

Defenceman Mathieu Dandenault suffered three fractured bones just above his left wrist during the win over the Flames. Doctors have put a steel plate in his arm and he is expected to miss at least six-to-eight weeks. - TSN

nsh.png After missing the last two games with a lower body injury, forward Jordin Tootoo is expected to return to the lineup against the Stars on Saturday. - Tennessean

nj.png Centre Travis Zajac is a game-time decision for Saturday night after being drilled by Rangers' defenceman Dan Girardi in the second period on Friday night. - Star-Ledger

ott.png Anton Volchenkov will not play against Tampa Bay tonight. The defenceman was injured when blocking a shot in last night's loss to the Capitals, taking the puck in the abdomen. - TSN

The club has called up forward Ilya Zubov and defenceman Brian Lee for tonight's contest against the Lighting. This is Lee's second recall in less than a month, recording two assists and two penalty minutes in thos games. Zubov, also in his second recall in a month, did not record any points in his four games with Ottawa. - TSN

Martin Gerber will get the start in goal for tonight's game. - TSN
phi.png Defenceman Matt Carle, who has missed the last five games because of a rib injury is expected to play on Saturday. - Philadelphia Inquirer

pitt.png After missing the last 12 games with an undisclosed injury, goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury, is available for duty on Saturday, but it's unclear if he or Dany Sabourin will get the start. - Tribune Review

sjs.png Forward Jeremy Roenick will be out of the lineup for at least a few weeks because of a shoulder injury. He underwent an MRI on Friday. Forward Jonathan Cheechoo is questionable for the weekend. - Mercury News
