Defenseman Eric Brewer didn't play on Saturday because of an upper-body injury. He is listed as day-to-day. - St. Louis Post Dispatch
Forward Martin St. Louis received eight stitches to his forehead after taking a skate to the face against the Ottawa Senators. He is expected to play in the Lightning's next game. - TSN
Sami Salo will not play tonight because of a groin pull. He's skated hard for the past few days but says, "it's just not there yet." Cory Schneider makes his 5th start of the season. General Manager Mike Gillis spoke about Roberto Luongo's injury and says the team "will be as cautious as they need to be." He won't give a time frame on the injury but is still downplaying it and the reports that it could be a couple of months. Luongo says he is "not back to square one" and still says the injury is nothing more than soreness. - TSN
