The Thrashers have traded forward Jason Williams to the Blue Jackets for defenceman Clay Wilson.

Williams had seven goals and eleven assists in 41 games for Atlanta so far this season.

Too bad we missed out on that.



Columbus could have had Morrison for next to nothing, like a conditional 6th round pick.

And Florida could have had one of McIver, Hedican, or Huskins for Williams and done better than they did.

And we could have been money ahead, with a better second line forward... someone else to test as a center for Teemu.
