Gerber on Waivers

QUOTE
Murray also stated that the Sens would sit down with Gerber and discuss his situation if he clears waivers without being claimed by another team. There has been speculation that the team would attempt to loan Gerber to a European team in order to alleviate his salary cap hit.

Good thing the league has a salary cap, isn't it?

I hope Bob Murray includes an automatic-agreement-to-go-to-Europe-when-asked clause in all the new contracts he will be signing in the upcoming months.

Just for the hell of it.

Someone needs to nudge Garth Snow from his nap and let him know.

Either that or he's riding the Yann Danis wave.

That MUST be it. They let him pass right under their noses too.

"There is one team that has expressed some interest," Murray told the media. "I told him that by tomorrow we will either have some arrangement made for him or we will assign him to Binghamton"
