Okay....Here we go again...

Besides the OBVIOUS.... ADAM OATES!!!! (Should have already been inducted!!!!!)

I think the others should be

Brett Hull

Brian Leetch

Steve Yzerman...

I don't really care what order the others are as long as my beloved Oatesy FINALLY gets the recognition he DESERVES!!!

The selection commitee will make its selections on June 23rd.. YES... I am counting down the days!!!!!

This might be worthy of it's own thread, but I wouldn't want to kill it before it starts by opening the thread myself:
QUOTE
When three of the Top 10 goal scorers of all time and a two-time Norris Trophy winner are eligible for the Hockey Hall of Fame, it is not a tough call for the selection committee.

Forwards Steve Yzerman, Brett Hull *color altered because he's a turd*, Luc Robitaille and defenceman Brian Leetch were announced on Tuesday as this year's inductees in the players category.

New Jersey Devils general manager Lou Lamoriello was elected in the Builder Category.

Representing all three forward positions, Yzerman, Hull and Robitaille accounted for an eye-popping 2,101 goals over the course of their careers and won a Stanley Cup together with the Detroit Red Wings in 2002. And Leetch helped the New York Rangers end their 54-year Stanley Cup drought in 1994...

Wow.

What an induction class that is.

And the Godfather, too. He will someday in the not-so-distant future provide a goalie and another defenseman to round out that group to one formidable team.

No need to commit murder ... there already was a thread. wink.gif

Good luck with cashing in QMU. wink.gif

And here's a rather startling, but nice gesture, greeting us on our official website:

As if being the coach of a failing NHL club in the desert isn't humiliating enough, there comes THIS from L.A.:

It's Better To Be Lucky Than Great (Really? Kings fans really want to say that? Really???!!) blink.gif

And yet, Wayne Gretzky, a man who never played a game inside STAPLES Center, was honored with a statue in 2002. A statue that some believe is cursed.

The "karmic error" they need to rectify is not on the concourse or in the vestibule, it's on the ice right in front of their net.

But hey... get another statue. It will go well with those ones they put in goal.

I disagree. Even Chokemanek and Danny Beachball together in goal couldn't create the karmic buzz kill that Philip F. Anschutz has.

But, back on subject --- They couldn't have picked a nicer, more likable guy than Luc to make a statue of to class up that joint. wink.gif
