Why, why, why? It's one of the few times I actually want Detroit to win a game. It often seems to happen that way. I can't believe they let in five in the first!!

Did Detroit, like wow! Maybe they are resting up for the PO's. That's just a crazy score, and Nashville no less.

Andy McDonald puts the game away and Bryzgalov loses his temper bangs the stick on the ice and then throws a tantrum on the bench... so much for his "it's just a game" attitude.

Moreau. Yeah, just coming here to post that. Looked like it might be damaged, hopefully just a cut and lot of blood. As much as I hate the Oil that was one that made my tummy sink.

Considering they didn't put a towel to the eye right away (and why the hell not when the blood is just pouring out eyebrow.gif ?) it seems like a nasty cut to the area below the eye. At least I hope that's all it is.

EDIT: They just said Moreau is on his way to the hospital as they think it could be a cut to the eyeball pinch.gif

QUOTE
Rookie Pekka Rinne stopped all 30 shots he faced for his sixth shutout of the season. It was the first time the Red Wings have been shut out this season. He completed the month of February with a 9-2-0 record.

"It's not going to happen every day that you have a game like that," Rinne said. "We just executed really well. We were well prepared for this game. But after leading 5-0 in the first period we were wondering what was going on."
