we probably need some more info. or verification on what we got for Sammi but I'de say absolutely without knowing. Mainly because half the guys we traded are going to be UFAs.

chemistry may take a while...

Even TSN was talking about how big a win it was for the Ducks... complimenting Murray on his moves in the last week and how he has effectively gotten younger, faster and cheeper while only shedding potential FA's

we don't have enough NHL ready guys for that...

We can however stick Nikelainen with Miller(rookie) and niedermayer(veteran) which should work well.

Emotions aside, Murray made the right moves. Even though we may not know much about what we got back, it's better than nothing (which is what we would have gotten for these players in 4 months). Now I'll go quietly mourn the loss of Sami and Moen crybaby.gif

for the rest of season.

we arnt going far in the playoffs so lets give them the games now so next season we can have lads knowing the level of play
and if we make the playoffs then they will get that experence

I'm preety happy too. We couldn't do much worse this season so I guess the roster we have now can do better, maybe we'll make the playoffs and who knows where we go from there.

Too early too tell, not enough evidence. And I can't believe how many of you are wanting to jump off a bridge because your favorite player's been traded. Give me a break.

This isn't about your feelings. It's a business where the organization makes decisions based on what they think it's best for them. Your feeling are not a part of the equation. It's not about you.

well ill tell you what...cant say we are winners or losers yet....but what i can say is our coach may not be willing to change the ducks game but our GM is......i think having younger players playing under RC is going to utilize RC the best and get the most out of those players......but arnt some of these guys UFA's at the end of the year?

And I thought *I* was the only cold hearted bastard! biggrin.gif

I tend not to "fall in love" with players....but I will hate one now and again. dontbugme.gif

(But I still have to go home and console my wife. She's not a fan of change, and hasn't come to grips with Kunitz being gone yet). sad.gif
