I use the Windows Movie maker on my computer for some of the videos i make and edit but id like to get more in depth as iv grown a big interest in it and wanted to look into buying a program specificaly in video graphic/movie making. Anyone have any information or opinions on any kind of movie maker program to buy or download?

Pinnacle is one of the most popular video editing programs, and is fairly priced for how much you actually get.

Sony Vegas

Best bang for the buck... hands down.

It also seems to run well on lower power machines.

I have used Avid, Final Cut & Premiere... Vegas compares well with these at a fraction of the price and system requirements

i did actualy hear about sony vegas and was looking into that as well. Sony Vegas was the first program the analyst mentioned. when you say lower power machines,do you mean Laptops? bc that is what i currently use.

I am running it on a 4 year old laptop right now... works brilliantly...

Premiere for example REQUIRES a RAID array.
