TSN's Ice Chips

Dion Phaneuf and Curtis Glencross both missed Friday's game and are day-to-day. The team is hoping they will both be available for Saturday's game against the Oilers. Rene Bourque was skating early with Andre Roy and Rhett Warrener. It appears he'll be ready for the playoffs. - TSN

Cristobal Huet will get the start in goal for Chicago on Saturday. - Chicago Sun-Times

Winger Patrick Sharp, who suffered a left leg injury last week and has missed the last three games, is unlikely to return against the Red Wings this weekend. - Chicago Tribune

Winger Kristian Huselius, who was staggered after banging his chin on the ice last weekend in Nashville, told the coaching staff that he wants to skate a few more days before he plays in a game. He is questionable for Saturday's game. Winger Fredrik Modin skated for 45 minutes in Columbus Thursday, the first time he's taken the ice since re-injuring a sprained left knee March 5. - Columbus Post-Dispatch

Winger Marian Hossa (groin) will not play during the home-and-home against the Blackhawks on Saturday and Sunday. General manager Ken Holland said Hossa would like to play Sunday, but the team has decided to let him rest before the playoffs. - Detroit News

Veteran winger Miroslav Satan cleared re-entry waivers Friday and is back on the Penguins' roster. - TSN

Centre Henrik Sedin underwent treatment on Friday and did not skate. He took a punch/stick to the neck in Thursday's game and, although he didn't miss a shift, the assumption is that is why he's taking treatment. He will play Saturday against Colorado. No lineup changes are expected. The last time the team travelled the night before and played in an early afternoon game, goaltender Roberto Luongo got hurt but he will start Saturday. - TSN
