Matt Hunwick was rushed to hospital yesterday where he had his ruptured spleen removed. He is now resting comfortably in hospital. - TSN

Captain Jamie Langenbrunner did not make the trip to Carolina with the Devils and is not expected to play in Games 3 or 4. He was injured (lower body) in the second period of Game 2. - TSN
