These players took part in the team's optional skate: Glencross, Conroy, Nystrom, Sutter, Peters, Roy, Bertuzzi, Greentree, Van Der Gulik, Boyd, Lundmark, Negrin, Warrener, Pardy, Eriksson, Vandermeer, Pelech, McElhinney, Keatley and Irving. Rene Bourque did not skate and wasn't available to the media. The team says he's injured. - TSN

The chances of defenceman Andreas Lilja returning this season are becoming less likely with each passing day. Lilja has experienced ongoing headaches since suffering a concussion Feb. 28 and has not skated since. The team did not do line rushes during the morning skate on Wednesday. Alex Tanguay did not skate. He was on the ice during the pre-game warmup but didn't play in Game 4.
