Coach Randy Carlyle told reporters on Sunday that rookie of the year nominee Bobby Ryan missed three shifts in the third period of the Ducks 3-2 loss on Saturday because of a bad skate. Forward Petteri Nokelainen, who was unable to play in Game 5 is a game time decision with an undisclosed injury. - LA Times

Defenseman Matt Hunwick, who had his spleen removed last week will begin light off-ice workouts, and according to general manager Peter Chiarelli could return if the Bruins can advance to the Stanley Cup Finals. - Boston Globe

Defenceman Dion Phaneuf, who left Saturday's game after bumping heads with Blackhawks' winger Troy Brouwer will not suit up for tonight's Game 6. - TSN

Goalie Chris Osgood took part in full practice on Saturday, and says that he'll be fully healthy when the Red Wings get back on the ice against either the Ducks or Canucks. The Wings, who had Friday off, will also not have practice on Sunday. Dan Cleary, who won't skate on non-game days because of a lower-body injury also practiced on Saturday. - Detroit News

After missing three games with a lower body injury, Devils captain Jamie Langenbrunner returned in Game 6 and played 24 shifts for over 16 minutes of ice time. After the game, he admitted to feeling out of sync. Defenseman Bryce Salvador missed his second game in a row with a left knee injury, but he should be ready for Game 7 on Tuesday. - Star-Ledger

According to sources, forward Blair Betts suffered a broken orbital bone as a result of the elbow to the head from Capitals forward Donald Brashear in Game 6, and is likely done for the playoffs. - TSN
