Can anyone confirm the wearabouts of Gord Dineen? Is he still in the Anaheim Organization? Asst Coach Matt Latsch got "called up" and is working with the Ducks during the playoffs. But what about Dineen? where is he?
Gord Dineen still working?

Probably enjoying his summer. I imagine it's convenient for Laatsch to be here because he's young and doesn't have a family to worry about (I could be wrong about this). Also, perhaps the Ducks are grooming him to move up in the organization and this is a good opportunity for him to take on some extra responsibility. Who knows?

Latsch mentioned in his post-game interview with Carrol & Sevy that being here right now was a training op for him.
There is talk swirling around that GD was fired, but no official pressers on the matter.

Ex- Iowa Chops coach Gord Dineen said this weekend he’s weighing his options regarding Anaheim’s offer to retain him in a different position within the National Hockey League club’s organization.
”We’ll see where it goes, just like any business situation,” Dineen said. “On a personal level, I want to make sure I’m doing things right for my family.”
Dineen, who coached the Chops to a 33-33-4-10 mark this season, said he was out of the country on a family vacation when the news came out the Ducks had ended their affiliation with Iowa because of financial issues.
