After missing the last four games with an upper-body injury, forward Petteri Nokelainen returned to the lineup for Game 2. Josh Green who spent the entire season in the AHL was also used in Game 2. Eric Christensen and George Parros were taken out of the lineup. - Orange County Register

Bruins' forward Phil Kessel who missed practice Saturday due to a swollen elbow played during Sunday's Game 2 3-0 loss to Carolina. Forward Byron Bitz and defenseman Shane Hnidy were healthy scratches for a second straight game. - Boston Globe

Winger Milan Lucic was seen limping today with an apparent injury to his right leg. - TSN

Cam Ward who was the playoff MVP in during the Hurricanes 2006 Stanley Cup victory, made 36 saves for his second shutout in his last four playoff games. - TSN

Along with battling the flu, Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews may also have a 'significant shoulder injury' according to a report. Toews reportedly can barely raise one of his arms. - Globe and Mail

Samuel Pahlsson was the only player who did not skate at practice on Monday. Head coach Joel Quenneville says that he will play in Game 3 on Tuesday. - Globe and Mail

According to a report, Mats Sundin is playing the series against the Blackhawks with a sprained MCL in his right knee. - The Globe and Mail

Rookies Karl Alzner and Tyler Sloan were brought in on emergency recall. One might replace Erskine who is questionable with a leg injury after blocking a shot in Game 1. - TSN

Anyone else see the camera focus on Ovechkin as he taunted the Pens along with the crowd? I'm not a fan of those chants from the crowd anyway, but I've never seen a player join in.
