That was nasty, and it was intentional. He might have a price to pay out there next game. Maybe Ovechkin will arrange a hit on him:

A Carolina player ran over Tim Thomas in game 1 and got sent to the box AND the goal counted. Yet the Red Wings get away with it.

When was the last time ESPN broke a story about the NHL, or got inside info before TSN or the others?
Maybe PIT leaked it as an attempt placate the Caps and avert a strong retaliation against Fleury or Malkin or the Kid.
Also, can we merge this with the same thread with the video?
