Defenceman James Wisniewski was diagnosed with a lung contusion in hospital after being elbowed in the chest by Detroit's Tomas Holmstrom. He stayed overnight for observation and is doing well, according to Ducks PR. He will be released on Thursday. - TSN

Chuck Kobasew sat out practice on Tuesday after suffering flu-like symptoms, but will play in Game 3 tonight. - TSN

Defenceman Brian Rafalski missed a third straight game on Tuesday because of an undisclosed injury. Chris Chelios took his place on the blueline. - Detroit News

After missing practice on Tuesday, Kris Letang skated with the team on Wednesday and will be a game-time decision for Game 3 tonight. The team is calling his injury a "loss of upper-body strength". If he can't play, Philippe Boucher will replace him in the lineup. - TSN

There was some speculation that Pavol Demitra had a concussion, but he was riding a bike today which would not follow the seven-day protocol if he was concussed. - TSN

Canucks are 6-1 in the playoffs but have been outshot in 6 of 7 games. The only time they have out-shot the opposition in the playoffs came in Game 1 of the series with the St. Louis Blues. - TSN

Head coach Bruce Boudreau did not rule out centre Michael Nylander playing in Game 3. Nylander has yet to play in the post-season. - Tribune-Review

Winger Eric Fehr will be a game-time decision after being injured by a check from Ruslan Fedotenko in Game 2. - TSN
