General manager Ken Holland said Tomas Kopecky could need surgery after being injured in a fight Francois Beauchemin in Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Ducks. Holland explained initial indications about Kopecky's condition were "not good" and "it appears he'll need surgery." The Red Wings are waiting on a final report.
