I was on Ebay today and found an auction that was for a Bobby Ryan Mousepad. The image is taken from one of our AD designers and I want to check if they know anything about this or if not then is there something we can do to report people on ebay from stealing AD members creations?

The seller has also got a lot of other mousepads featuring more designs of the Ducks.

I just thought I would bring it to everyone's attention as there are many talented designers here and I don't want people to make a fast buck out of your creations.

It looks like the seller attempted to change it by adding the reverse image (complete with mirrored numbers)

I guess you're taking the route of "Imitation the best form of flattery" ... altho' one hopes that $.99US is worth a significant amount in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Well I did make that second version as well but I'm not terribly proud of either anymore.

I guess that 2nd one is posted somewhere in here, which would've taken some searching for it to pop up. Maybe that seller did have to do some work to feel entitled to the $.99US.

Haha like a month ago. For some reason I thought that dividing by two was a good idea. I got a 96% on the final exam, however I'd say English is more my forté.

At $.99, I can't say I really care. Also considering I don't own the rights to the photos or logos, and probably his namesake is trademarked at this point by Ducks' marketing. I can't say I can lay any claim to that, but if we just want to get him in trouble for stealing these images from Getty, the NHL, etc. then why not? haha

Report him to eBay and the Ducks as well. Maybe even getty images, too. GI does prohibit the spreading of their images for a financial purpose and I don't think this guy owns a license. If he stole one of my designs, I'd sue him for sure.

Probably the best offseason ever. If I remember correctly the season after our quiz spree, the Ducks won the cup. I don't know.
