I am somewhat new to this and I want to edit my stuff. How do I add an avatar and is it a signature that is underneath any comment you make? How do you do any of that stuff?

I don't know if anyone has answered your question via PM but I'll give it a try. You seem to have figured out the avatar part since you have one under your name. There are quite a few here, help yourself to a new one if you want to.
Yes, it's called a signature and some of us around here have created a few for some posters. Did you have one in mind that you'd like and that someone here might want to design for you?

Was watching last night's game against Phoenix via ESPN Player, and noticed FSN using shiny logos for both teams. Had a couple of seconds to screenshot the Ducks logo, since I thought it'd make a nice avatar
