My Own Ducks Prospects blog-Top prospects list now complete, Sept 26th

The Ducks get absolutely no coverage of their prospects, hockey's future the supposed "leader" in prospect info rarely has any information whatsoever, they never update the profiles , post updated stats or even have any commentary on a players season.
This is not just a prospect centric blog, It's a Anaheim Ducks blog, but one of the major things I will be doing is attempting to give more exposure and info about the teams system, now obviously I have not seen all of our prospects play, I've seen a decent amount of quite a few of them but players like Justin Schultz who are in the BCHL are obviously going to be hard to see.
This is just a review of the off-season, but I will bu doing a full draft review, my own prospects list and MAYBE prospect profiles for the noteable guys if I have the time.

You have to change your color-scheme. It is distracting to the point of unreadable.
I would suggest a light colored background(preferably white) with a dark text(preferably black) for readability and an overall more professional look.

MUCH better.
Now if you wanted to change your header color, could you?
can you use hexidecimal codes to change it?
Currently the BG color on the header is: #771100
If you changed it to something like, #ee6600 it would look a lot more Ducks oriented.
though that is pretty light and may mess with the white font you have...
Sorry, if i'm nit picking or overstepping here, I just obsess about websites as my day job because, well I obsess about websites

I'd like to see some of the sites you've created. You can PM them to me if you want to

fiveten.com or stealthrubber.com are good examples of my work. Though I left them back in December, i don't think the sites have changed much(if at all).
on the blog side, I also built freerunnermag.net, but got busy and abandoned it shortly after launch so it lacks much content.
I recently started a new position with a new company, but haven't even touched the look and feel side of the site yet, just been grinding away on back-end DB stuff and systems support in the office..
I do work here and there for hollywoodmusic.tv as well.

It's just a blog, blogspot makes it very easy to adjust that stuff, so it's not a problem

You seem pretty dedicated to this blog idea, but have you tried getting in touch with the editors at HF?
We're always looking to add motivated and talented writers to the staff.

I have not to be quite honest with you, because they hired Tanya Lyon, who basically does nothing. I thought you did a good job trying to provide info and i'm not quite sure why they even brought her in i've seen her do about 3 articles if that
edit: I just updated reviewing the last two moves but I will be posting the draft profiles individually as well.

-Sbisa will be on the list, since he finished last year in the WHL, I consider him a prospect even though hes expected to make the team
-I will be rating Nick Bonino much higher than HF did, as well as THN, the fact he was picked where he was is causing people to not rate him for as good as he is.
-Expect alot of defensemen i'm having a very hard time ranking them after the top 3.
-I really liked our 08 and 09 drafts so expect some bias towards those two.
I'll post an update when it's done.

no. 16 is Brett Festerling
my rankings are mainly based on projection, upside and trying to guess a likeyhood of reaching it

Uh, you might want to recheck that photo. It's not Festerling.

No doubt!
Gardiner has the bigger upside, more potential.
But Sbisa is ready NOW!

It was a toss-up weighing Gardiners upside for Sbisa's NHL readyness
14 is Justin Pogge
this is the last goalie, they were hard to rank, I think Bobkov has the most potential due to his athleticism but he's going to be like Bryzgalov in the sense it may be a few years before we really talk about him as a future NHL'er.
Pogge is probably ready to backup right now but he will definitely be the no.2 come october 2010 Hiller will only sign if Giguere is moved most likely so their fates will be decided within the year you'd think.
Modig has played pro for a few years, but he's really skinny he had really good numbers last year, so i bet when the ducks get their own farm team next year he will be apart of it.
and almost half my list is defensemen, so it shows you where the ducks depth is at. It is hard to project players like Sexton who have played college but are really small that's why I decided on McCue at 20 but Bickel I think is a sleeper in the system, there were basically 11-13 dmen that i had to consider and Salcido is NOT on the list either.

I completely disagree with that. I think Sbisa will open eyes with his play. I think he will turn out much better than Gardiner who, IMO, still has a lower hockey-iq. He has the ability to become a first pairing defensman but I doubt he will be better tha Sbisa. Anyway, I'm so thrilled with the defensive prospects we have right now.
