Hey all I have my review of the Ducks draft almost complete I just have to post Bobkov, Valentine and Ilo still. I will also be doing a top prospects list and more than likely collaborating with the Anaheim Calling blog.

Ducks prospects Jake Gardiner and Kyle Palmieri were named to the preliminary roster for the U.S. National Junior team that will compete in the World Junior Championship.

Gardiner, a defenseman at the University of Wisconsin, and Palmieri, a center at Notre Dame, will play in a training camp on Dec.17-19 in Grand Forks, N.D. If they make the cut they will play in the World Juniors on Dec.26-Jan.10.

I hate to tell you this, but the tournament ended January 5 (18 days ago) and the US won the gold medal.
