So, I figured I could try to revive this section here on AD. I'd like to see what everyone's stats are throughout the season (no matter how good or bad they are). And, I figure this would be a great thread for us to brag about our Ducks worthy games wink.gif

I'll go first. My last 4 game tournament I had a 1.75 GAA with 1 shutout and a 1-2-1 record. IDK the SV%, but by guestamations, it's in the .900's (we don't keep track of SOG's). My stats for the season are 1.30 GAA with 2 shutouts and a 4-5-1 record (3 of the games our team was filling in for another team, so they didn't really count laugh.gif)

In all honesty, my team is pretty garbage. Most of them have never played hockey before and can't skate or hit the puck (doh1.gif) I'm in the situation that unless I have a perfect game, we lose. And even if it's perfect, we may not win. I posted a shutout but my team failed to score in our first game in this last tournament. I enjoy playing for my new team, but I wish they were more skilled. It's ok though, all the shots I face pad my stats laugh.gif

So, how are you all matching up?

I don't play, But my son does. (He's a Squirt).

1GP, 0G, 0A, 0PIM

Though he did draw a penalty (Hooking) by keeping his feet moving.

This season will be interesting as not only is it his first full season, but he is switching from D (He loves Niedermayer) to RW (He loves Perry), so there is quite a mindset adjustment and in this first game he had a hard time not drifting back in his own zone to play D...

I'm just hoping he can stay out of the box as he is VERY excited that he can now harass the goalie. which is clearly his favorite part of Perry's game and something he loves doing in pick-up and scrimmages but can't when playing D

That's right, ladies.

A lovely garbage goal coming out of the box and playing forward for the first time. laugh.gif

As memorable as the experience was, I still only play defense and have only netted the puck on one other occasion (off the post and in!). I've got some assists, but I'm sincerely not counting.

My sons stats to date:

3GP, 0G, 0A, 2PIM

Definitely a defensive minded winger at this point... He was working more offensively in his last game, it's just changing his mindset from Defenseman to Winger I think as there has been a noticeable change in his game with each game.

He was named player of the game by his coaches last game (they beat the #1 team, who was undefeated) and praised for his responsibility and decision making.

Realistically in that game he should have had 2A's, but at squirt level they seem to only give credit for direct pass through the crease set-up type assists and ignore nice breakouts that lead to breakaways.

I mainly just play pick-up, but I did recently play in an intramural league at my college. I usually play center because no one else wants to, but I'm usually on the right wing.

Team was trash, we didn't win 1 game the regular season, but for the whole season (4 games), I got 3 goals, and 5 assists.

In the playoffs, we won a game, then got crushed because the majority of the team didn't show up. I got a goal and an assist in the first game.

For the second game, I only got one assist, but I should have had a goal if the ref wasn't garbage and blew the whistle early. Also, this second game, I decided (idiotically) to play with a broken wrist.

Hopefully, when my injuries heal, I'll be able to find an actual league to play in.

If anyone is in the Boulder/Denver area, I'd love to know where you play! biggrin.gif

I'm so confused. So, are you a goalie? Or a defensemen? blink.gif laugh.gif

I'm a goalie with a streak of Bill Smith in me!!! If a forward is stupid enough to touch me, they'll get a stick to the mid-section or a blocker to the head! I have anger issues!!!

I can't get sent to the box, I'll get the penalty min on my stats but someone else will serve the time in the box for me.

The one penalty I ever took, my team didn't dare get mad at me over. They killed it and shut up laugh.gif

I'm sure that's quite common. Biggest rule of hockey to me: Don't piss off your own goalie. I did that once... Baaaaaaaaad idea.
