Bolt and Calder?!?!

Me Thinks Murray is telling Carlyle to Roll 3 Scoring lines.

So if Bolt and Calder are called up, who gets scratched and how do the lines look if they combine both onto the same line, Marchant or Carter with Calder/Bolt?

it's not a case of scratches... were over the 23 man limit... someone's getting shipped out.

Or maybe Merchant is going on IR and Berksley (sp?) is going back to San Antonio?

yeah that's possible... Beleskey's penalty by hooking the face of the TO player probably didn't earn him any praise from Carlyle...

That could explain it.

Are you suggesting that Bolt is a scorer? Or that Bolt will fill in on the 4th line to move a "scorer" to the 3rd line. I highly doubt that was Murphs intention.

yeah, something like that.

Maybe Carter goes to the 1st when he's off IR (Miller was a pt/gm player with the twins last year)...

Or Brown... I think Brown would tear it up with the twins.

Personally I'm shocked that it's Bolt...

He's WAY down the list of people I'd call up:

Sexton
Macanauer
Bodie

all seem far and away better choices

Bolt's gotta be the worst skater of the ECHL... we once thought he could develop into something interesting, but he seems a complete bust. I really don't see why we recalled him.

the ONLY thing I think he brings to the table is size... and we have others who do that just as well (Bodie for one)...

Maybe were showcasing him as part of a potential trade.

Maybe his job will be to lie down in front of the crease to deflect pucks away from our goalies?

Bolt can't even make an AHL roster. What's he doing on the Ducks roster?

Oh... wait. Maybe he's the cherry.

Pucky...

Can you change the Thread title to read:

"RECALLED: Bobby Bolt"

or maybe

"RECALLED: Bobby Bolt ??"

Since it's not confirmed by the team yet.

that format makes it easier for users to see roster moves at a glance and has become the standard here on AD

This makes no sense at all to me. Bolt has been a stiff since he has been signed, and was an ECHL level player last year, even when the Ducks had an AHL team. He wasn't even invited to the Ducks training campt this year. He has only been in two Condors games this year, and I thought that he was injured. However, checking the Condors web site he is listed as no longer with that team. He has got to be dirt cheap, so that may be the reason. Alternatively, maybe he is taking R2's spot, since they both are large with hands of stone.

Yeah except the R2's stone hands have been scoring this year and really hasnt shown too much of the stone hands since pre-season
