Thrashers prospect Angelo Esposito has suffered another season-ending knee injury, Thrashers general manager Don Waddell said Saturday that Esposito tore the ACL in his right knee last Sunday while playing for the Thrashers' AHL affiliate in Chicago. An MRI confirmed the injury, and Esposito will return to Atlanta to begin rehabilitation. - Atlanta Journal Constitution
Patrick Kaleta was handed a two-game suspension Saturday for his boarding major on the Flyers' Jared Ross. The hit during Friday's game earned Kaleta a game misconduct, while Ross didn't return. - NHL Release

On Saturday, the Wild were without D Marek Zidlicky, a late scratch because of a lower body injury, and star wingers Martin Havlat and Petr Sykora, both out with concussions.
