TSN's Ice Chips
Left wing Kyle Calder, who suffered an eye injury at practice on Oct. 28, was cleared for full contact during practice on Monday and could be available this weekend. - Orange County Register
Robyn Regehr missed the last game due to an undisclosed injury, but will be back in the line up tonight. Craig Conroy was also a question mark after not playing for most of the third period against the Kings, but he is expected to play as well. - TSN
Goaltender Cam Ward has been activated from the long-term injured list. Ward has missed the Hurricanes' last 13 games after being cut on his leg by a skate in Carolina's game at Columbus on Nov. 7. He is eligible to play in the Hurricanes' game at New Jersey on Wednesday, Dec. 9. - Media Release
The Jackets sent winger Pascal Pelletier to the Blues for defenceman Brendan Bell and centre Tomas Kana. - TSN

Andrew Ebbett (head) missed practice Tuesday. He was hit by Coyotes' Ed Jovanovski on Monday and is questionable for Wednesday's game versus Colorado. LW Derek Boogaard is also questionable. - Star Tribune
Benoit Pouliot (wrist) and Brian Gionta (foot) did not skate due to their injuries on Wednesday, while Jaroslav Spacek and Paul Mara were given therapy days. The Canadiens have sent Ryan White back to Hamilton of the AHL. - RDS

After going 0-for-7 on the power play Tuesday in a loss to the Canadiens, the Senators spent the majority of practice working on the man advantage.
Defenceman Anton Volchenkov was not on the ice, however it was just for a maintenance day. The rugged bluelined will be in the lineup Thursday against the Flyers. Alexander Picard also missed practice with an upper body injury, he will not be in the lineup Thursday.
Forward Chris Neil skated on his own for the first time since suffering a knee injury on November 25th. Head coach Cory Clouston believes he is still a couple weeks away from returning.
Goaltender Pascal Leclaire wore his mask and practiced for the second straight day. Clouston expects him to miss another 10 to 14 days. - TSN

Forward Dany Heatley and defenceman Dan Boyle both did not practice on Monday for what the team called a maintenance day. Heatley was suffering from flu-like symptoms, while Boyle was resting after heavy workloads in the last two games.
