nyr.png Brandon Dubinsky skated Wednesday morning with a white (non-contact) jersey. It was the first time he has skated with the team since he suffered a broken right hand on Nov. 7 in Calgary. There has been no real timetable set out for his return, but it could be within a week to 10 days. - Bergen Record

ott.png Brian Elliott will get the start against the Flyers on Thursday. Ryan Keller will be a healthy scratch and Alexander Picard (upper-body injury) will not play. Forward Chris Neil skated on his own on Wednesday for the first time since suffering a knee injury on November 25th. Head coach Cory Clouston believes he is still a couple weeks away from returning.
Goaltender Pascal Leclaire wore his mask and practiced for the second straight day. Clouston expects him to miss another 10 to 14 days. - TSN

phi.png Ray Emery (abdominal surgery) is expected to miss about six weeks, if not longer. - Delaware County Times

pitt.png Alex Goligoski will return to the ice for the Penguins on Thursday in Montreal after missing the last four games and 10 of last 11 with an undisclosed injury. There has been no word on who he will replace in the line-up. - TSN

tmp.png Ryan Malone (lower-body) and Steven Stamkos (upper-body) left Wednesday's game against Edmonton with injuries and are both day-to-day. The team believes there is a chance one or both of the players could play on Friday as neither injury is reportedly serious or significant. - TSN

tml.png The team did not hold a morning skate on Thursday in advance of their game against the Bruins. - TSN

van.png Defenceman Alex Edler is scheduled for an MRI on Thursday on what is suspected to be a shoulder injury. He will not be in the lineup tonight against the Thrashers. Mathieu Schneider will take his place on the blueline. - TSN

wsh.png Mike Knuble (broken finger) has missed the past 11 games. If cleared by the team doctor on Thursday, he could make his return against the Hurricanes Friday. - Washington Post

Wednesday's loss to the Buffalo Sabres was the first game the Caps have not led at any point this season. It was the third time they've trailed after the first period. - Buffalo News
