col.png Avs' forward Milan Hejduk returned to practice Thursday after missing two games with a right knee injury. He stated that he will be in the lineup Saturday against Columbus. - Denver Post

dal.png Stars defenseman Trevor Daley left in the second period of Wednesday's game against the Hurricanes with an apparent shoulder injury. He is doubtful to face the Thrashers on Thursday. - Dallas Morning News

det.png The Detroit Red Wings injury woes continue as leading scorer Henrik Zetterberg left in the first period of Thursday night's game against the Lightning after being drilled by a clean open ice hit by Mattias Ohlund. He appeared to suffer a shoulder injury however it is not known how long he will be sidelined. - Detroit Free Press

la.png Kings defenceman Randy Jones was held out of Thursday's game against the Flames due to headaches and a stiff neck he suffered in a collision Tuesday with Edmonton's Dustin Penner. - L.A. Times

mon.png Winger Brian Gionta (broken left foot) skated by himself Friday morning and will travel with the team. Defenceman Roman Hamrlik (knee) didn't skate but will also travel with the club. To make room, Tom Pyatt and Yanick Weber were send down to the Hamilton Bulldogs. Twenty-two players will travel with the team, including Andrei Markov (left ankle tendon surgery), who will reportedly play Saturday against the New York Islanders. - TSN

nj.png Devils head coach split up long-time tandem Zach Parise and Travis Zajac at practice Thursday. Parise skated with Rob Niedermayer and Vladimir Zharkov. Zajac was placed on a line with Brian Rolston and Jamie Langenbrunner.- Star Ledger

ott.png The Senators will be without forward Nick Foligno for a couple of weeks as he will undergo a knee scope.
Both goaltender Pascal Leclaire and forward Chris Neil were on the ice as Senators practice today. Both are still targeting December 23rd to make their return to the Sens lineup. - TSN

phi.png Simon Gagne hoped to be in the lineup Thursday against the Penguins however he did not get clearance by team doctors and missed his 24th straight game. He is hoping to return Saturday against the Rangers. - Comcast Sports.net

tml.png Luke Schenn will return to the Maple Leafs lineup Friday against the Buffalo Sabres. Goaltender Jonas Gustavsson will serve as backup and may get the start Saturday against the Bruins. The Leafs have recalled Victor Stalberg and assigned goaltender Joey MacDonald to the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League. - TSN

van.png Aaron Rome returns to the lineup for the first time since coming back from a conditioning stint. He will take Mathieu Schneider’s spot on the blueline. Kyle Wellwood is also back in the lineup for Darcy Hordichuk. - TSN

wsh.png The Caps hope to have Semyon Varlamov back in the lineup Saturday after facing shots at practice on Thursday. He has been sidelined with a groin muscle strain since December 7th. - Washington Post
