Teemu Selanne, who had a pin removed Tuesday from his broken left hand, will be out one more week. Ryan Getzlaf (leg laceration) is day-to-day; Ryan Carter is back after missing more than a month because of a broken foot. - Orange County Register

D Kevin Klein won't play against the Blue Jackets Thursday, but the Predators didn't feel the need to send him back to Nashville for further medical evaluation. Coach Barry Trotz said he's not ruling out a Saturday return to the lineup for Klein, who averages more than 20 minutes of ice time per game. Martin Erat (knee strain) is out 7-10 days. - Tennessean
