Total of 691 penalty minutes were assessed, both teams were fined, 4 players fined, 7 Players suspended 1 game, and both teams received a 0-5 loss.
I think its funny how both sets of goalies end up just talkin to each other while everyone else throws down.
Oh and Jaromir Jagr was involved as well.

Yeah that was a good brawl, I think that part of the reason i HATE the Stars so much. Howver we were able to finish our game, they didnt even make it 4 minutes in before the game was called.

it isn't even really a rivalry, Omsk was upset because a Chekhov player fired a puck at an Omsk player during warm-ups (Like the Wild did to Selanne in 07)... Omsk is trying to get Chekhov removed from the league, they apparently have quite the reputation for being thugs... beyond anything we've ever seen in the NHL. They Make the Charlestown Chiefs look tame.

this one was completely unnecessary...
i understand what led to the brawl with Stars... the score didn't help too... too much has accumulated and guys just spilled it out...
here... come on! stupid... 3+change into the game...
like everyone here i like a good fight and even a brawl, but there is time to fight and there is time to let it go...
i saw one Russian news telecast... lol my dad decided to surprise me... i'm like, yeah... i've heard that, and seen it... but wouldn't mind to hear an opinion from a russian commentator...
the guy had the nerve to tie that brawl to a game when Cherepanov died... i think it was the same teams in the same arena or something... what an idiot

Ok yeah thats pretty funny, some of those kids just LEVELED the opposing player. But seriously WAY too many 2 and 3 on 1's there and whats with the kids still holding onto their sticks when throwing punches.... fight fair kids!

Sorry... crappy post by me. I forgot to add the link that explains it. I first saw it on Kuklas Korner. I looked around to see if anyone posted any footage of the actual attack occurring, but couldn't find it as of yet. I think I'll at least replace that embed with something in English that includes explanation.
