Sad to see it come to this, but looks like the wild dumped him onto waivers. His Salary for the year is 1.6mil.
Tempted to say we pick him up for a bit while you know... Saku, Teemu, Loops are out. Tempted. Im mixed because he isn't exactly a big time scorer AND his health are suspect. And his attitude. But still, something to think about.

I could have sworn part of the reason he left is because he didn't like playing in Anaheim...

He doesn't like RC and RC didn't like him. They did not see eye to eye on how he was supposed to play.

I think I read he's going to Europe as is if he clears waivers.

Let me guess, muck-a-puck, dump and chase not suitable for Sykora?

Can't blame the man for not liking that type of a system.

I signed him in NHL 10 and he is the best clutch scorer I have. Maybe that would work in real life? I am certainly willing to give it a shot.

You never know what could happen. I agree it's an unwise bet to sign him with hopes of high goal counts, but still. If he signs cheap enough I doubt it would hurt any team to have him.

Really? NHL10 and real life are the same, or at least worth a shot? Someone get me in a F1 car because I'm damn good at it when I play it online...
