Finland vs USA at 3 p.m. EST

QUOTE
In four games, the Americans have earned 16 power-play opportunities and scored four goals (one in each game). Finland, by contrast, has seven. How bad was the American power-play against the Swiss? "We were wondering if we could just decline the penalties and pick up the flag like they do in football," Backes joked.
...
"We won't score four, five goals against top countries, so we have to play defense well," Finnish coach Jukka Jalonen said. "We have to snuff them out, maybe let them score one goal, maximum two goals; and then we have a chance to win the game."

Preview: Team USA set for physical battle with Finland

Slovakia vs Canada at 9:30 p.m. EST

QUOTE
What the Slovaks have going for them is the best special teams in the tournament. They are No. 1 on the penalty kill (18-for-19) and No. 1 on the power play (7-for-19).
...
If Babcock keeps his same lines, he could use the Toews' line and Ryan Getzlaf's line to matchup with Slovakia's top two units. Richards and Brenden Morrow would be the left wings, but Babcock might have Nash and Richards swap sides, too, if he wants a bigger body guarding either Gaborik or Hossa.

Preview: Surprising Slovakia next hurdle for Canada

QUOTE
Ducks winger Corey Perry, who scored twice against Russia, said discipline will be the key for Canada.

"We know what they got. They've got a couple of the best goal scorers in the league in [Marian] Gaborik and Hossa. They've got some speed and a big defense with Chara. They're a team that's going to play physical and we have to stay out of the penalty box," he said.

"Everyone said Sweden was going to win, but in a tournament like this you get timely scoring, good goaltending and anything can happen."

Supposedly this game can be watched live on NBC.com, hopefully we don't need that silver player thing. Have yet to be able to get it to work.

If I can't get it on NBC's site, I'm going to rock the radio stream. Either way, I must know what's happening! And my bosses already know, if anyone gives me grief for it, I'm just leaving for the day and catching the end of it elsewhere. Such is life.

If the stream I posted turns out to be wrong.... I'll post the right one when I find it.

-----edit-----
I changed it.... WFAN New York will have it.

As soon as I tuned it, I heard "...SA plays Finland, we'll have that at the top of the hour"

----------------

I'm also hunting for a non nbcolympics.com video stream, I'll post that if I find it.

Kipper with the highest SV% in the tournament so far, and has only allowed 3 goals

1-0 USA!!!! By Ryan Malone, unassisted

Kipper came way out to play the puck (just about to the top of the circles blink.gif ), and left the net WIDE open. Flubbed the pass to his d-man, and Malone cruised right up, intercepted it, and threw it into the net from there, while Phil Kessel stood right nnext to the net.
