It's good to see that Scott Stevens is feeling better but I am not a fan of his and I hate the Devils anyways so they are going to be stocked defensively. I hope this doesn't mean the Devils return to SC form again...but then again I would love nothing more than to beat the Devils for the SC....unless of course some freak thing happened that allowed us to play the Kings for the Cup that would be ultimate...that or the Avs with Kariya on the team so that we can watch him cry when the Ducks hoist the Cup and he is left without it once again. ana-ban.gif ana-ban.gif

This is already covered in the "He's back" thread.

I'll move your comment to that discussion.

That is one of the things that I wasn't too chuffed about. dry.gif But I wasn't keen on him before the hit so it's not down to that one incident. Look I'm not about to type a list of why I don't like Stevens as I really can't be bothered talking about the guy. I'm not a fan and that's that, some folk like him and fair enough they're entitled to their opinion, but count me out.

I agree -- Scott Stevens is what hockey is all about. He's a hard worker, gritty, plays hard, hits hard, but is a clean player. I remember hearing a few years ago that he only has three elbowing penalties in his career -- that doesn't surprise me. He plays the game the way the game is meant to be played.

His hit on Kariya in game six of the 2003 SCF was hard, but clean.

We need more Scott Stevens in the game -- he's what North American hockey is all about!

I do not like the idea. I think this guy is robbing Devils. Knowing that there is no season and raising a players salary? hmm.gif

It's Pauls fault that he didn't see the hit. Keep your HEAD UP!!! don't look down at the 'friggin puck keep your head up to see whats going on. Thats what more and more people are doing, and getting injured.
