RE-SIGNED: Petteri Nokelainen signs 1 year contract extension

It's a one-way deal and it is for 1 year at $950,000

That was never in question. Nokelainen is an everyday roster player for sure regarless of this signing.

so now he is signed through the 2010-2011 season right?....and at a great price....IMO i think he is going to do well with the ducks this year which is why i think the signing came now

I dont like this trade because it doesnt help the Ducks at all.
With Marchant and Chipchura here I guess Noki was expendable.
I thought he played great for us and was a good shut down player.
It would have been nice to keep him around in case of any injuries.

Yeah I mean we got a 4th for Kampfer yesterday yet we only get a 6th for Noki?

That's too bad Nokie was a great PK player. That's about all he did, though. In this day and age you've got to bring more than that to the table.
