So now that we know what Artyukhin's capable of doing, where and why wasn't this effort here all year long?
1 game, 1 goal, and a highlight reeler at that. Where the heck was this? My answer: Craplyle

well we saw him have several games where he made great plays, i believe he had several short scoring streaks, i have a feeling this is just another random good play to be followed by a long absence

Your answer is false. And also there was never a lack of effort on R2's part, he was always out there going hard. We saw brilliance from him a few times and he has the talent to be a phenomenal player, problem is he lacks discipline and control. Once minute he is having highlight reel goal and the next he has taken 5 back-to-back penalties. Problem was never RC, problem remains with R2 and until he can control himself he will continue to be up and down.

Not me. R2 was scratched alot for a reason, he has no self control or discipline. Look how many penalties he takes. When he has a good game he is very useful but that happens 1 out of every 4 or 5 games, the other times he is int he box for half the game.
I wouldnt want him back unless he learned discipline and stopped taking those stupid penalties.

Sorry to hear this. Arty seems like a pretty good guy. I'd hate to see him lose his ability to play the game.
