I think the Ducks should fire both Bob Murray and Randy Carlyle.

Carlyle because he cannot work with what he is given.

Murray because he cannot give the coach (he insists on keeping) what he needs.

Anaheim needs new direction, and a new face of the franchise. BM and RC have proven themselves to be poor at both.

Kill two birds with one stone.

Fire Carlyle. Murray has presented him with enough quality ingredients to create at least a better recipe than what he's done.

I thought everyone was pro Murray just 3 games ago. Ohh that's right, things haven't gone well in the last 5 days.

Fire Murray and let the next GM decide whether to keep Carlyle or not. Most likely he'll fire Carlyle and bring in his own choice to coach the team...that's fine. Burke did the same thing and that worked out pretty damn well.

Fire coach. I dont not like the team BM has put together all be it the D was weak but we were still better than what we played at. If BM must go to also get rid of RC then fine, otherwise just coach.

Rest of my comment ill put in the RC thread, to keep this as OT as possible.

Fire Carlyle. Everyone praised Murray on the players he picked up in the off-season (Koivu and Lupul everyone was happy about) and I think he done good at the trade deadline to get rid of Whitney and get Visnovsky.

Let's face it, look at our team and we should at least be in 5th or 6th in the standings not 6 points out of 8th.

FIRE CARLYLE!!!!!

When the deal was pulled for Vis at the last minute to address one of the hoiles on "D" and moving Whitney & Toskola many people here were giving Bob a thumbs up.

Hell there is even a thread about grading the trades we made and I think the overall concensus was somewhere around a solid "B".

But again, maybe I read the entire site, not just the threads that contain "Fire Carlye" or "Fire Coach / GM" in the title. smile.gif

Now you go from "everyone" to "many people". Looks like you don't even read your own posts.

You should try contributing to the thread, rather than coming in and posting some derisive comment, and then retorting with some lame excuse when you are confronted on your inaccurate and extremist accusations.

Let's get back on topic...

Good god you are a gluteus maximus rententive child of an unwed mother aren't you?

I didn't ask for your comments to begin with.

OK TO BE CLEAR, THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THE JOB MURRAY DID ON WEDNESDAY MARCH 3RD 2010, MORE SPECIFICALLY IN REGARDS TO MAKING CAPROOM AND UNLOADING WHITNEY AND TOSKOLA, AND IN THE PROCESS BRING IN A MUCH NEED GUY WHO CAN PLAY SOME SERIOUS "D" AND RUN THE POWERPLAY.
** DISCAIMER.. NOT EVERYONE THOUGHT MURRAY DID A GOOD JOB, MOST NOTABLY L&G WHO IS READY TO QUIT HIS DAY JOB AND TAKE OVER THE ANAHEIM DUCKS AS SOON AS EVERYONE IS FIRED.

Yeah, stating the fact that just a few days ago MOST were please with Murray is an extreme statement. What was I thinking? sarcasm1.gif

You continue to make accusations that you can't back, and don't even admit to what you say right, despite the fact that it is documented for the whole world to see.

And you still haven't contributed anything to this thread, beyond a lousy, derisive attitude.

L&G,

I already made it clear that I admittingly made a general statement. How often in everyday life do people use generalities?

Get over the small details that mean nothing and quit wasting your time splitting hairs on things that are so pety.

You can say all you want I bring zero insite to anything here and that is your opinion. From what I can tell you cannot stand anyone who may not see things exactly as you do and thus people as myself are an obvious annoyance in your life. Here is a simple solution to your problem, put me on ignore.

Can you admit your statements in this thread have been derisive, and you've yet to address the topic here? Because that is what the problem is...

You twist a lot of things that are said and presented into something they are not. You did it in your first post in this thread, and now you do it in this last one.

This thread is not some reactionary, pendulum-swing-to-the-other-side discussion as you clearly chided in that first post. Nor did I ever say you "bring zero insite to anything here" (I have to assume you mean "insight", since "insite" isn't even a word in the English language). You are using extremist statements and inaccurate "generalities" to try to make some point, which stick in the ground, short of their target, like lawn darts.

The fact you took so much time to point out a simply incorrect spelling of a word is ridiculous.

Back on topic. I do not think Murray should be fired. I think this off-season will be his first chance at really making this "his" team. With Jiggy bloated contract off the book and Hiller the clear cut #1 guy, plus some summertime spending cash he will get his chance to prove his worth.

Murray has done an outstanding jom in my opinion cleaning up after Burke made a mess with the cap situation.

Carlyle, well I have said for months that if the Ducks fail to make the playoffs a change is warranted. If the Ducks make the playoffs I suggest they retain him with 1 year left on his contract.

I feel like I am repeating myself since this topic has been discussed in many other threads over the last month but I guess this may make you happy that I posted it here as well.

Did I incorrectly spell anything? I am dying to know. sarcasm1.gif

Obviously I cannot vote yet because my decision on RC is out until we know if the Ducks qualify for the playoffs. I thought that was clearly stated in my last post.
