I think Wisconsin is the only team with Ducks prospects, Gardiner and Schultz.

Justin Vaive from the Miami Ohio is also in the tournament.

Ducks’ prospects in NCAA Tournament

Justin Vaive is a 6-foot-6, 218-pound junior winger for Miami of Ohio, runner-up last year and seeded No.1 in the Midwest.

Defensemen Jake Gardiner and Justin Schultz play for the University of Wisconsin, seeded No.1 in the West. Gardiner was the club’s top pick, 17th overall, in 2008.

Vaive was drafted by Anaheim and attended the Ducks’ rookie camp before he even set foot on the Miami campus.

“It was a cool experience, to see what you have to play for,” Vaive said. “It motivates you throughout your four years here because you know how nice it is (at the professional level), that you could have it if you just put in the time.”

Wisconsin has a hell of a team. They are strong up front, and they have an unbelievable blue line at the NCAA level. The Badgers get a lot of production from their defense and they can dominate games, in terms of puck possession, because they are strong in the face-off circle and they lean heavily on their blue line to maintain puck possession and open up the ice. You'll see a number of their defensemen(including Gardiner) skate the puck up, or join the rush. Their offense often starts with their defense. Hell, they are the college version of the Ducks in 2006-2007.

If they play each other it will be in the final since Wisconsin will play RIT and BC will play Miami-OH in the semis.

Boston scores a soft one early in the 3rd, and it's 2-0...

Boston scores again, two goals in 2:02... 3-0 now.

Boston scores a PP goal and basically puts it away with 12:40 left in the 3rd. The lead is now 4-0.
