Great link to the story about Selanne. I noticed the quote about how he felt that he had to take the heat for his bad play last season but other people should look in the mirror.

It was easy to see that Selannes lack luster play was more complex then the fact he just lost it. I think his play in the World Cup proves that he still has it and it was a situation in Colorado that was at the heart of his problems. If it was his desire to come to Anaheim or if it was the tension that was so obvious between him and Granato, we may never know, but he is making it clear that there were "other" people involved.

Life is complex and that is why simple solutions don't always work or simple explanations don't really explain.

Good article PB...Selanne should have been a Duck and maybe still can be...I'd like to have him back especially when he feels he has something to prove...it could me a big season from the Finnish Flash!!!

Actually life is simple, we just complicate it with all the crap we're always wanting. When two explanations are offered for something, the simplest full explanation is preferable, and often most correct.
