I like the old logo - but I didn't vote for it because it probably won't ever be brought back, and many fans, as far as I can tell, want it to be left in the past. Where I'm from, not many people even know or care that this NHL team even exists, recognising this awesome logo only from the horrendous movies, so I generally don't like wearing it in public (I'd love to see it return as a shoulder logo on a future jersey).
I've grown to like the wordmark - but I didn't vote for it because in my opinion, it's too weak to be called an identity. Should really be moved to a third jersey or something, or got rid of completely.
I also like the D logo - but I didn't vote for that either. While it's unique and creative, and I would choose it as our primary logo over all the ones the Ducks have used, it's still not strong enough on its own. Mainly because outside of the Ducks fanbase, not many people can see that it looks like a duck's foot. Some think it looks like one of Batman's Batweapons, others think it looks like a UFO.
And for all of the reasons above, I voted for something new altogether. Featuring a flying duck as the logo. I mean, this team is named the ducks. Where is the duck? I don't see a duck. The Sharks use a shark, the Coyotes use a coyote, the Penguins use a penguin, the Thrashers have a thrasher, the Predators have a predator of some sort, the Bruins have an alternate logo with a bear, so there's no reason the Ducks can't have a duck logo.
"But a duck looks wimpy," so-and-so says, "and like a target." Well, you know, fans of other teams that hate the Ducks are going to make it seem like that anyway, because they are childish and have nothing better to do. Deal with it. The Thrashers may sound intimidating, but in reality they are named after a bird which I'm sure isn't all that intimidating. Also, how can anyone think that the Ducks sounds more ridiculous as a team name than the Penguins? (Not that that's a bad name for that team, but hopefully you can see where I'm coming from).
"But there's not much you can do with a duck", somebody else might say. Three words for this naysayer:
YES THERE IS.
