I just read in the Oregonian yesterday that Luca Sbisa was recently traded to the Portland WinterHawks.

Today I read that the Hawks took the first round series against Spokane and are moving on the second round!!!
Vancouver Giants, I believe, are our next opponent. Scary!

No, I didn't.
I haven't checked in Duck Eggs for a long time.
I just usually mark everything in it as read and move on up to ALLDUCKS Talk.

Well, you know Aramis ... it had to have been the company he was keeping that day (women or wine, or both). No wonder he didn't make a promise to keep an eye an Sbisa for us ... he was keeping his eye on something/someone else!

Two fights broke out after the final buzzer. Giants captain Lance Bouma and Sbisa engaged in a nasty bout. The Portland defenseman continued to punch Bouma after the two fell to the ice, and when Bouma bounced back up, he went back after Sbisa. The two have been at each other all series.
